Time Warner Cable

Time Warner upgraded their installation of PeopleSoft’s HR application to improve their HR function’s self-service capabilities through PeopleSoft’s eProfile, eBenefits and ePay/Compensation offerings.

OnDemand Personal navigator was used to develop training materials for 460 HR users on the PeopleSoft functionality.  OnDemand was also used to create materials for the employee self-service rollout to 30,000 end users.

The key benefits of OnDemand were in;

  • reducing content development time, which allowed more time to be focused on knowledge transfer and implementation issues,
  • allowing several experts to develop globally consistent training materials
  • allowing fast and efficient editing capability to update materials based on user feedback.

By using OnDemand, Warner Cable managed to reduce help desk calls by 80% and provided online support to 30,000 end users, through the intranet and web casts.
